Victories of the day

Today a friend of Rad’s is in town who lived in Thailand for 5 years including his stint in Peace Corps. While Rad was at work we went shopping in Thai town for the few things you must have to make real (tasting) Thai food. Noah was talking to the ladies at the check-out in Thai, I was smiling and nodding and Cosmo was charming them from the Ergo. Great smile they said! And something about Papa. Just easier to not explain sometimes. We also got loose thai tea which he made a huge batch of for afternoon snack, and probably weeks to come.

I also got my accordion out for the first time in over a year and treated the baby, the guest and my unwitting neighbors to their first warm up concert.
